Insite Specialist Services has been an invaluable partner in our ongoing efforts to provide safe and healthy living environments for our tenants at ng Homes.
Mould has been a persistent issue in some of our properties, particularly in bathrooms and bedrooms. The Kill, Prevent, Protect solution offered by Insite has proven to be highly effective in addressing this problem. Their team has demonstrated exceptional expertise in identifying the root causes of mould growth and implementing targeted treatments.
We have seen a significant reduction in mould-related complaints since partnering with Insite. Their approach not only eliminates the mould but also provides long-term prevention measures. This has had a positive impact on the health and well-being of our tenants.
The Insite team has been professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. Due to the number of differing house types and structures housing organisations own and manage, they have taken a vast, varied and complex scientific problem and broken it down into easy to understand presentations, discussions and solutions. We are confident and have no hesitation in recommending their services to other housing providers. NG Homes Glasgow
We recently had a very worrying, highly technical and mostly incomprehensible damp and mould survey done of our property by a 'specialist', which gave a lot of technical information but no way forward or actions to remediate the problem. It was therefore a breath of fresh air to speak to Gordon who was able to cut through the noise and immediately understand the nature of the problem and give us some solutions to consider. Gordon was generous with his time, extremely knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We now feel we have a way forward and feel confident with our next steps. Ruth Etches
We have successfully used Insite Specialist Services and their KKP system on various commercial and residential projects. Gordon’s knowledge and expertise has been particularly helpful in reinstating various fire, flood, and escape of water insurance claims. The KPP system has shown its benefits particularly where there are specific health concerns from the clients in returning to their property. We will continue to use Gordon and the team in the future.’ Gary Denholm - CSQ Consult Ltd

The Dangers of Mould Exposure
Mould exposure can cause a range of health problems, especially for people with allergies, asthma, elderly, children or weakened immune systems. Exposure to mould can cause symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, and eye irritation. In more severe cases, it can cause respiratory problems, headaches, and fatigue.
Mould produces allergens, irritants, and sometimes toxic substances known as mycotoxins. These substances can cause serious health problems, including neurological problems and even cancer or death. Therefore, it is essential to take mould infestations seriously and address them promptly.
Signs of Mould Contamination
Mould can grow in hidden areas, making it difficult to detect. However, there are some signs that may indicate a mold infestation, including:
If you notice any of these signs, it is important to address the issue promptly to prevent further growth and potential health problems.

KPP is a system designed and provided only by Insite Specialist Services Ltd. The symbiotic ( mutually beneficial relationship between different products) outcomes are not available elsewhere.
Unfortunately there are no guarantees with this type of work other than we promise to improve your current situation. We require property owners / Landlords to rectify the building defects and for any changes in use to be adopted to allow these solutions to provide the maximum benefits.
Sadly a consequence of living in poor living conditions along with many attempts of different 'solutions', normally chemical, results in individuals becoming sensitized to chemicals.
We do not create any chemicals in our process and do not leave behind any harmful, toxic products. We would hope that your sensitivity will be reduced following our installation.
Tenant:- You should contact your Landlord as soon as possible. Depending upon your location / country there are slightly different Acts of Law that they must obey including but not limited to timescales. Provide them with as much information as possible e.g. you have had a burst pipe, it is following a storm, the extractor fan is broken etc.
This will allow them to respond as soon as possible with their Technical Officers or Repairs team and processes.
Record times and dates of all incidents as they will request this, any photos would help. Also record your times and dates of reporting your issues.
There will be a period of time where your Landlord will investigate the cause and establish a program of repairs and remediation.
Owner:- If you have established the cause we are happy to attend and provide a cost for our remediation solutions.
We can provide a survey / report / advice that is chargeable if the works do not proceed at a cost of £175 + VAT (within Central Belt of Scotland and travel expenses are applicable outwith).
See below why we charge.
We do not provide a full blown invasive building defects survey as carried out by Building Surveyors and note that if you are unable to establish a cause we advise that you should NOT contact a "Dampness" company to diagnose these issues. We are happy to provide our comments and findings based on years of experience in the construction sector and recognise that engaging with a professional building surveyors can also be costly.
The worst case scenario is to be sold a solution that masks the issues and our independence can help you avoid high expenses or unnecessary works. This is why we charge and payable in advance.
